“Hustle, Loyalty, Respect Earned John the World Championship

Modern Role Model: John Cena

Incredible, amazing, and totally mind-blowing, that is what I am feeling here at World Wrestling Entertainment Wrestlemania XXI in Los Angeles, California. John Cena is the new WWE World Champion. John used his signature move “The Attitude Adjustment” to beat John Bradshaw Layfield for the world title. John Cena’s lifelong dream of being a world champion wrestler finally came true. Ever since John was little he wanted to be a professional wrestler.

Jonathan Felix Anthony Cena Jr. was born April 23, 1977, in West Newbury, MA. He lived with his mom, dad and four brothers, Matt, Dan, Steve and Sean. John and his brothers wrestled all the time and his dad John Sr. would be the referee.

John graduated from Springfield College in 1999. After college, he moved to California to become a body builder. Later, to help him become a wrestler, he went to school at the Ultimate University. This school trained John to be a professional wrestler.

In 2000, Cena made his debute with Ultimate Pro Wrestling and a year later, he joined WWF. With lots of hard work and determination John has won many matches. In 2002, he appeared on Smackdown. In 2004, he won his first big title called the WWE United States Championship.

John Cena is 6 feet, 2 inches tall. He weighs 240 pounds. He is thirty-three years old and loves to collect cars. He made two movies and was on a television show. He lives by the code of “Hustle, Loyalty and Respect.” He feels that this code has helped him become what he is today.
