The Warp to Venice

It all started in 2011 when John Howard was born in Italy. When he was 26 he got job as a boat repairer on Italy. After working for 2 years there he quit because wanted to do something more for with boats

A couple of years later he got a job as a cruse driver. He had hardly any experience as a boat driver but he gave it a shot. The first day on the job he ran through a couple practice courses, he did okay for the first time on the job.

His first cruse to sail was on June 14; he was excited and nervous  all at the same time. His crew mates thought he was weird with his brown hair and beard.

As he lifted the boarding plank the boat departed for the dock. He took the stairs to the top level with the control room he passed by his private cabin and was met there by Lieutenant Ryan, his friend from boarding school. He said it would be a pretty long way to the Bahamas.

They flipped a coin for night shift and the day shift. Ryan got night shift and John got the day shift. John was rather happy with day shift, but Ryan was mad because he wanted day shift. John began day shift at 6: 30 a.m. He rather enjoyed the ship, but Ryan kept asking him to switch; John always said "No."

One day John was sailing and "Boom!" It sounded like an engine blew out, but he suddenly saw great buildings. He put the engine in reverse and it dragged the boat even farther in. The worse thing about it was there were people on the deck (which was closest to the buildings).

He hit many buildings but finally hit a stop. Nobody knew what happened. What do you think happened?
